Current Lab Members
Kristel Joy Yee Mon, PhD
Post-Doctoral Associate
Dr. Yee Mon is working on identifying a T cell biomarker for COVID-19 immunity. She is also testing novel adjuvant combinations to enhance dendritic cell priming of anti-tumor cytotoxic T cells as a prospective cancer immunotherapy.
Chongbo “Bob” Yang, BMSc, MD
Post-Doctoral Associate
Dr. Yang is utilizing several mouse models to investigate how different programs of cell death in the intestinal epithelium impact cellular turnover, tissue repair, and intestinal homeostasis.
Atimukta Jha, PhD
Post-Doctoral Associate
Dr. Jha studies the cell biology and regulation of endocytic antigen cross-presentation by dendritic cells. She is also establishing novel models to study noncanonical cross-presentation against viruses that impair CD8 T cell immunity.
Yuhua Shi, PhD
Post-Doctoral Associate
Dr. Shi studies the biology and function of inflammatory caspases in tissue. She is studying the role of CASP5 in homeostasis intestinal epithelium.
Yuviana Singh, PhD
Post-Doctoral Associate
Dr. Singh will be joining us in the Fall 2026. She will be working on a mouse model of Lynch syndrome to advance LNP-RNA-based frameshift protein (FSP) vaccination. She will identify and characterize the most immunogenic and cytotoxic recurrent FSP (rFSP) neoantigens–unique peptides generated by MMR deficiencies that can serve as prime targets for immune activation.
